We spent our Sunday afternoon at the Greenville Drive baseball game. What a hot and fun day we had! Not sure what we were thinking going in such heat, but the boys didn't mind and had a great time! We sat on the lawn, so they could run around and be close to the playground inside the park. Of course, we had all the junk food that you can get at a baseball game. That's just the way I like to spend Sunday afternoons....with family and friends!
Since summer camp is over at the preschool, we have been enjoying some fun activities. On Tuesday, we met our friends at Heritage Park for Kid's Day. We rode the train, ate hot dogs, and played at the park. The kids always have a lot of fun together.
Sunday, we went to Jack's 4th birthday party at the Riverbend Equestrian Center. There were pony rides, a hayride, and a petting zoo. Neither boys wanted to ride the pony, but they had fun on the hayride and petting the animals. Happy bday, Jack, and thanks for inviting us to your party!
We had an amazing time in the Dominican Republic last week with our good friends Dana and Robbie. This was our second annual summer vacation with them. We arrived at the Majestic Colonial Tuesday afternoon and stayed until Sunday. The five days went by way too fast! Our days were spent relaxing at the pool and the beach and lots of food and drink. We did treat ourselves to the spa twice and had one of the best massages we've ever had. The resort was beautiful, and the beach was gorgeous. We were a little disappointed in the food and service though. We kept comparing it to last year which was an amazing resort with superior service. After asking around about the other resorts in the DR, we came to the conclusion that that's just how it is there. Don't get me wrong, we had an amazing time and made memories that will last a lifetime! We are already talking about where to go next year!
